Shift Hours - 8am to 5pm ( Monday -Thursday)

Roles and Responsibilities -
- Welcome patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Verify patient information (contact details, insurance, and medical history) and update records as necessary.
- Assist patients in completing necessary forms and ensure accurate information is recorded.
- Take patient vitals , BP ,height, weight, setting up computerized patient testing.
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments, ensuring accurate coordination of providers' schedules.
- Manage appointment reminders via phone calls, emails, or text messages.
- Maintain the daily appointment schedule to ensure smooth operations and avoid overbooking.
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records, ensuring they are up to date and complete.
- Prepare and file medical charts, documents, and reports in compliance with privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
- Ensure all required forms are filled out correctly and maintained confidentially.
- Verify patient insurance information and assist with any billing questions or concerns.
- Collect co-pays, outstanding balances, or payments at the time of service.
- Ensure smooth patient flow by notifying healthcare providers of patient arrivals.
- Assist patients with medical records requests and ensure the release of information is in accordance with legal and organizational standards.
- Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth office operations.
- Ensure that medical charts, test results, and prescriptions are properly communicated to the appropriate team members.
Required Skills -
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with patients, healthcare providers, and office staff.
- Ability to explain medical information clearly to patients in a compassionate and professional manner.
- Excellent phone etiquette and the ability to address patient inquiries effectively.
- Strong organizational abilities to manage appointments, maintain patient records, and keep office operations running smoothly.
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and competence in using basic office software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office equipment (fax, phone systems, printers).
- Knowledge of and adherence to confidentiality guidelines and HIPAA regulations to ensure the security and privacy of patient information.
- Familiarity with insurance verification, processing co-pays, and understanding billing procedures. Ability to assist with patient billing inquiries and work with the billing department to ensure accurate charge submissions.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
