Clinical Magnet is looking for a Medical Lab Scientist to join our partner's full-time team in the Rockford, IL area. This is a DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY ( not contract)

Key Responsibilities for the Scientist:
Working with other scientists, perform and evaluate diagnostic procedures
Apply principles and techniques of medical sciences

Key Requirements for the Scientist:
Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role
Strong knowledge and understanding of medical lab science techniques and theories
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's degree in a science field: chemistry, physical science, biology, medical laboratory science (or similar)
Accreditation from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or similar agency

Compensation and Schedule for the Scientist:
Target rate is $30-$44/hr

Schedule: 3-12-hour shifts weekly (nights) with rotating weekends and holidays
Other 40-hour/week shifts available as well

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $44.00 per hour
