Medical Laboratory Scientist II

s degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or in the chemical or biological sciences; and ASCP or AAB certification as MLS or MT. The Medical Laboratory Scientist II in the Analytic Biochemistry laboratory will provide services of a technical nature for semi-automated, and manual testing to quantify concentrations of a variety of endogenous compounds. Will perform routine and complex lab tests to provide physicians with rapid and accurate results; will participate in preparing specimens for processing; perform moderate, and highly complex analytical processes; establish, perform, and document quality assurance, quality control, and equipment maintenance; confirm and verify results through in-depth knowledge of techniques, principles, and instruments; correlate and interpret data based on knowledge of factors affecting test results; data handling and input.
