Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Patient Concierge to provide warm and friendly service to patients at their medical front desk. This full-time role involves being the face of the clinic, offering a welcoming environment, and identifying opportunities for community engagement as part of our cross-functional organization. Responsibilities include patient check-in, managing waiting room atmosphere, and handling billing, collections, and pre/post clinical care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Triage patient-related messages and questions in a timely manner.
  • Assist patients in resolving issues by interfacing with clinical care teams.
  • Check and disperse daily faxes to the appropriate team member.
  • Scan documents and maintain medical records in practice management systems.
  • Handle claims for collections on FMLA and other related documents.
  • Recognize, welcome, and register patients at check-in, serving as a role model for patient service.
  • Guide patients through intake processes, ensuring full completion and accuracy of paperwork.
  • Inventory, stock, and clean lobby and clinic areas as needed.
  • Complete transactions using POS systems and reconcile daily collection reports.
  • Verify insurance and benefits for patients.
  • Provide coverage in multiple office locations as needed.
  • Engage referral sources to increase awareness of clinics.
  • Adhere to company policies and attend mandatory meetings.
Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of healthcare background.
  • Strong computer knowledge, including proficiency in Excel and team chats.
  • High energy with excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • A "take charge" attitude with an enthusiastic approach to customer service.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record programs is a plus.
Skills
  • Competent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work quickly and meticulously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications and data entry.
  • Ability to deal calmly and effectively with high-stress situations.
  • Strong customer service skills and prior knowledge of insurance and benefits.
Additional Requirements
  • This is a driving role, and travel between multiple clinic locations is required.
  • Flexibility in shift hours is necessary; shifts could be 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. or 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
  • Business professional attire or scrubs are acceptable.
