The University of Michigan Health - Sparrow is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated full-time Medical Director for Trauma/Critical Care Services. The Medical Director of Adult Quality and Safety will provide inspirational, action-oriented Physician leadership to a Quality Care Assurance Team as it works to facilitate achievement of hospital strategic and operational goals for quality (effectiveness, efficiency, safety, timeliness, patient-centeredness, equability). Translate input and direction from the Board Quality and Patient Safety Committee (BQPSC) through the University of Michigan Health-Sparrow Hospital Quality Pillar (QP) to engage Providers, Caregivers, Patients and Families in activities that achieve specified quality goals, promoting innovation, high reliability, pervasive adoption of standardized best practices, reduction of unnecessary variation, and achievement of national benchmark results for quality and the Patient experience.
Minimum Requirements:
- Board Certification or equivalence in an applicable specialty/subspecialty devoted to the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory problems
- Five years clinical experience
