As a Manufacturing Engineer, you'll create and implement efficient, cost-effective manufacturing processes that meet product specifications and quality standards. You'll also suggest improvements to our production methods and controls, and play a key role in launching new or updated products.

Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement production and assembly processes on the manufacturing floor (NPI).
- Evaluate design solutions for manufacturability (DFA, DFT).
- Define process specifications.
- Assist in the development of machinery and the creation of assembly and test tools.
- Conduct risk analyses of assembly and test processes (PFMEA).
- Investigate and resolve issues in production processes (RCA, DMAIC).
- Execute machine and process tests while analyzing process data (DOE).
- Validate machines and their associated processes (SAT, IQOQPQ).
- Oversee and evaluate 0-series production runs, documenting results.
- Prepare production documentation, including assembly manuals.
- Train and supervise production staff and final inspectors.
- Analyze and troubleshoot (electro)mechanical issues with machinery.
- Report on project progress, including hours spent and other relevant metrics.
Profile
Ideal Candidate:
- Background in manufacturing, ideally with experience in product and/or process development within the Medical Device industry.
- Preferred mechanical background.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office are required.
- Experience working with microscopes is a plus.
- A bachelor's degree in a technical or related field is necessary.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience is required.
