Seeking an experience medical coder and biller who is experienced in multi-disciplines and specialties. This individual must strive to deliver the highest of customer service standards. This position is responsible for supporting the Account Management team by reviewing medical records and selecting the most appropriate codes. Accurate coding ensures proper charges to the patient or insurance company of services rendered.
Certified Professional Coder active License (CPC) or relevant (5+ years of experience)

Preferred 2- 4 years' experience in a physician coding position
Experience with multiple EMR Management software
Extensive knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS
Meticulous attention to detail
Capable of working under time restraints
Strong communication skills as you will be speaking with your supervisor, colleagues, and medical staff on a daily basis
Keep current with coding changes and communicate all changes to supervisor
Must maintain HIPAA standards
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm and professional

MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBLITIES:
Review charge source documents for proper completion
Accurately code procedures and diagnoses according to payer-specific policies and procedures
Assist with denials related to coding issues
Maintain an organized, efficient and professional work environment.
Adhere to all practice policies related to HIPAA and Medicare Compliance
