JOB DESCRIPTION
Processing all claims and using Zendesk to assign claim files (could be up to 500 claims a day)
Enter patient and claim information into TPA
Working on adjustments/files and questions from TPAs
Reporting for client engagement team
Working closely with IT department
Emailing internally or to providers and patients to request additional information, clarifying details, resolving discrepancies, and providing updates.
Communicating with team members via Microsoft Teams
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
2-3 years of claims experience
Experience working in medical claims
Experience with TPAs
Know how to manually process a claim
Detail oriented
Experience working in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable multitasking, hitting deadlines, and working within time constraints
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Experience working with ticketing systems (Zendesk, Fresh Desk, Zoho Desk)
Formally worked within healthcare or insurance industry
Compensation:
$15/hr to $17/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
