We seek an experienced Medical Assistant with at least 2+ years of hands-on experience in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care, performing administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
  • Record patient medical history, and vital signs, and update electronic health records (EHR).
  • Prepare examination rooms and ensure necessary medical equipment and supplies are available.
  • Administer injections, draw blood, and perform routine lab tests as needed.
  • Provide patient education on medications, treatments, and follow-up care.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and managing patient records.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of medical equipment and examination areas.
  • Assist in minor surgical procedures and wound care under physician supervision.
  • Coordinate patient referrals and follow-ups with specialists or hospitals.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting.
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent certification.
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Medisoft).
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and basic pharmacology.
  • Ability to perform phlebotomy, administer injections, and conduct basic lab tests.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills in a high-volume environment.
  • CPR/BLS certification is required.
