Job Description Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an excellent op portunity for a full-time Medical Assistant for our primary care department at the Fairfax Health Center in Fairfax, Virginia. Position Highlights: Outpatient environment & updated facilities Emphasis on work-life balance (no weekend, evening, on-call, or holiday requirements) Employee status with a full complement of benefits Opportunity to give back & care for our Nation's military and dependents Schedule Monday-Friday, 40 hours a week, 8am - 4:30pm or 7am - 3:30pm Rotating Saturdays: 7am - 12pm Responsibilities: Taking a patient's history and personal information upon arrival of appointment Scheduling appointments and answering the phone Checking patient vitals and provide assistance to physician in office Requirements: Required: Graduated from an Accredited Medical Assistant program Required: 2-years of experience as a medical assistant.
