Salem Media Group offers an exciting opportunity for a
Media Strategist/Account Executive. We are in search of a dynamic and motivated sales professional to join our expanding on-air and digital sales team. This role involves selling and managing multi-media marketing solutions, including OTT/CTV, targeting small to medium-sized businesses on both regional and national levels. Achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals while identifying new business opportunities will be key to your success.
Responsibilities: - Prospect local and regional businesses, engage decision-makers, schedule meetings, analyze client needs, and deliver captivating advertising presentations that align with client goals.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on local digital marketing trends and opportunities.
- Create and deliver strategic marketing proposals to key accounts and decision-makers in new businesses.
- Accurately project revenues, consistently meet and exceed sales targets across all product lines, and surpass annual sales goals.
Qualifications: - A proven track record of exceeding sales goals in on-air and online media.
- In-depth knowledge of digital products and their sales positioning in the marketplace.
- Experience in selling Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Target Display, OTT/CTV, social media, Email Marketing, Chat, Website Development, and other digital marketing solutions.
- Ability to identify and analyze business categories for effective prospecting.
- History of conducting thorough needs assessments, uncovering client needs, and providing customized solutions with data-backed justification.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to present comprehensive solutions to clients or groups.
- Proven success in developing effective business marketing strategies for local and regional clients.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor in all client interactions.
- Capability to work seamlessly with a diverse range of clients across various industries.
