Salem Media Group offers an exciting opportunity for a Media Strategist/Account Executive. We are in search of a dynamic and motivated sales professional to join our expanding on-air and digital sales team. This role involves selling and managing multi-media marketing solutions, including OTT/CTV, targeting small to medium-sized businesses on both regional and national levels. Achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals while identifying new business opportunities will be key to your success.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prospect local and regional businesses, engage decision-makers, schedule meetings, analyze client needs, and deliver captivating advertising presentations that align with client goals.
  2. Conduct market research to stay updated on local digital marketing trends and opportunities.
  3. Create and deliver strategic marketing proposals to key accounts and decision-makers in new businesses.
  4. Accurately project revenues, consistently meet and exceed sales targets across all product lines, and surpass annual sales goals.
Qualifications:

  1. A proven track record of exceeding sales goals in on-air and online media.
  2. In-depth knowledge of digital products and their sales positioning in the marketplace.
  3. Experience in selling Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Target Display, OTT/CTV, social media, Email Marketing, Chat, Website Development, and other digital marketing solutions.
  4. Ability to identify and analyze business categories for effective prospecting.
  5. History of conducting thorough needs assessments, uncovering client needs, and providing customized solutions with data-backed justification.
  6. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to present comprehensive solutions to clients or groups.
  7. Proven success in developing effective business marketing strategies for local and regional clients.
  8. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor in all client interactions.
  9. Capability to work seamlessly with a diverse range of clients across various industries.

Compensation: $50,000-$70,000/yr. plus a generous commission structure.
