Sr. Media Marketing Specialist

Overview:

We are seeking a Sr. Media Marketing Specialist to take ownership of delivering product and technical updates to our users and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in WordPress, with a proven track record in creating, managing, and optimizing email campaigns. A deep understanding of the product lifecycle, technical content, and user communication strategies is essential. Familiarity with Salesforce is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Email Campaign Management

  • Plan, develop, and execute email campaigns that inform customers and stakeholders of product updates, new features, and bug fixes.
  • Segment email lists to ensure the right message reaches the right audience.
  • Perform A/B testing on content, subject lines, and send times to improve performance and engagement.

Content Development

  • Write and edit clear, compelling, and accurate email content that translates technical updates for a non-technical audience.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and support teams to gather and verify content.
  • Design branded, mobile-friendly email templates using HTML and marketing tools in line with company branding.

Automation & Optimization

  • Build and maintain automated workflows to efficiently deliver recurring or trigger-based product communications.
  • Leverage CRM and email marketing tools to optimize campaign performance.
  • Ensure email designs are responsive and render correctly across devices and email clients.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track and analyze email metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
  • Provide insightful performance reports and strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Use data and feedback to refine content and improve future campaigns.

Compliance & Best Practices

  • Ensure all email communications comply with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other relevant regulations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to maintain high-quality, effective campaigns.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with product development, customer service, and sales teams to align on messaging and campaign schedules.
  • Partner with the design team to develop supporting visual content and multimedia assets.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Multimedia, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in email marketing and/or social media marketing, with a focus on product or technical communication.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical content.
  • Experience in capital equipment marketing is preferred.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and marketing automation tools (Salesforce preferred).
  • Knowledge of email deliverability strategies and audience engagement techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with platforms such as Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar.
  • Skilled in HTML/CSS for email design and editing templates.
  • Strong analytical mindset and the ability to leverage data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
