Purpose of the Job

To carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance, Reactive Repairs and site cover to buildings within contract.

Responsibilities and daily activities:

  • Ensure that Planned Preventative Maintenance is carried out in line with task schedules and industry best practices.
  • Identify any defects found to Line Manager and provide parts list and estimated timescale to carry out remedial works.
  • Attend site and carry out reactive repairs as instructed by administration team.
  • Maintain the professional image of CBRE at all times
  • Establish and maintain a good working relationship with all CBRE employees and clients' representatives.
  • Ensure the provision of a Safe & Healthy working environment
  • Stand In for Site Engineers as requested.
  • Complete E-Learning within designated timeframes
  • Actively log near misses
  • Use the CAFM mobile system for job management
  • The post holder does not have any directly reporting staff.
  • This post carries no direct budgetary responsibility

Qualifications and Experience

  • A good basic education is essential, with good written and spoken English and basic mathematical skills.
  • Recognised technical qualifications
  • Recognised mechanical qualifications
  • Knowledge of other building services an advantage.
  • Working to Planned Preventative Maintenance Regimes
  • Installation of mechanical services
  • Fault finding on mechanical systems
  • Knowledge of lone working requirements
  • Risk Assessment trained.
  • Must be flexible regarding working hours,
  • Must be available to join a call out rota.
  • Driving Licence essential.
