Job Description:
An employer is seeking Electro-Mechanical Technicians for a long term opportunity in the Florence, KY location. This employer is opening a new distribution warehouse in the Cincinnati market to assist with bakery distribution items for the new WaWa stores coming to the area. This distribution center will eventually employee 150+ individuals and specializes in shipping out bakery items in a timely manner. The electro-mechanical technician will be responsible for heavy mechanical, light electrical, up to 480 volts, will need to be able to turn wrenches, plumbing, light welding, light fabrication, machine building, ownership of equipment and work multimeters. They will work closely with the bakery production team who does baking, mixing, cleaning, frying, picking and reading recipes as well as the sanitation team to troubleshoot and maintain all machinery in real time. This technician will be expected to work Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday and start around 5am-2pm. This is flexible after training is complete. A background in food and safety is heavily preferred as is hands on machine troubleshooting.
Requirements:
- 3+ years in electro-mechanical machinery role
- 2+ years of food, beverage or CPG industry experience
- Ability to work on site in Florence, KY, 5am-2pm and one day a weekend
- General Maintenance background (plumbing, electrical, hand tools, ect.)
