Opportunity for Mechanical Project Engineer
An opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Project Engineer to join a well-established engineering company specializing in the re-engineering, repair, and manufacture of components for rotating equipment. This full-time role offers a salary range of £40,000 - £45,000 and benefits.
As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will oversee projects involving the assessment, overhaul, and refurbishment of rotating equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Assess rotating equipment received for inspection and repair
- Manage end-to-end refurbishment and overhaul projects
- Produce detailed work instructions to support efficient project delivery
- Maintain and update project materials and documentation in the internal job system
- Prepare final reports for client delivery and internal records
- Support and promote quality, environmental, and health & safety standards
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in processes and engineering standards
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Mechanical Project Engineer, Project Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Service Engineer, or similar role
- Degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline
- Preferably, 2 years of experience servicing rotating equipment
- Familiarity with CAD software is advantageous
- Proficient IT skills
Shift Details:
- Monday - Thursday: 07:45 - 16:15
- Friday: 07:45 - 12:45
