Bridgeway Professionals is currently recruiting for a Mechanical/Project Engineer for one of our largest clients here in Putnam County/Findlay, OH area. Can be Entry Level or candidate with 5 years experience - salary will be determined based on experience level.
Role Description
The purpose of this position is to coordinate project activities with other maintenance/utilities personnel as well as, outside contractors and vendors. The incumbent should strive to continuously improve equipment and processes whenever possible to maintain production. Also manage assigned projects within facilities and utilities and comply with safety and environmental compliance and standards.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate project management tasks.
Maintain contact with external contractors and suppliers and coordinate contractor maintenance endeavors within the plant.
Monitor the proficiency of all external contractors to insure optimum service performance.
Provide technical expertise on evaluating process equipment.
Insure functionality and reliability of the plants mechanical and hydraulic equipment.
Minimization of downtime through planned, predictive, and preventative maintenance programs.
Insure maintenance program will meet equipment expectations.
Training and coordination of the activities of the operators and technicians as related to troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and hydraulic equipment within the plant or facilities projects and various plant utilities systems
Remain abreast of changing technology within the industry and submit recommendations for upgrades as pertinent.
Works safely, follows lockout/tryout procedures, and corrects any unsafe conditions identified in course of work.
Qualifications
- Mechanical Engineering and Project Management skills
- Experience in Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
- Project Management expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Relevant internships or co-op experiences are a plus
