The role:
The Mechanical Project Engineer will be part of a small team involved in various projects, overseeing full project life cycles from design, construction, installation, commissioning, to handover, ensuring key deliverables of cost, time, and performance are met.

Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Manage and lead multiple projects within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Collaborate with teams across the business, including sales, design, and shop floor.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and demonstrate leadership.
- Create and maintain mechanical specifications, drawings, and documentation; conduct tender analysis and validation; review design and construction; oversee commissioning and handover.
- Manage project timelines, ensuring all tasks are completed on schedule.
- Oversee budget management.
Additional duties may be required beyond this list.
Skills and experience required:
- Recognised Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent.
- Project engineering experience in a manufacturing or process environment.
- Experience with design and specification of industrial chemical processes or similar.
- Proficiency with AUTOCAD or Inventor CAD.
- Well-organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
