Are you a mechanical professional with strong HVAC expertise and experience in generator systems We're on the lookout for a Mechanical Lead to join our delivery team on a major Data Centre build in Slough. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in a technically complex, fast-paced environment where your input will have real impact from day one.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Leading mechanical installation across the site, focusing on HVAC and generator systems.
- Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring quality, safety, and programme are upheld.
- Working closely with project leadership, design, and commissioning teams.
- Driving performance through planning, problem-solving, and proactive leadership.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven track record on mission-critical or large-scale commercial builds.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, ductwork, chillers, air handling units, etc.
- Experience with diesel generator installations is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage subcontractors, monitor progress, and ensure compliance.
- Confident communicator who thrives in a collaborative team environment.
