The Mechanical Insulation Account Manager has diverse responsibilities, from estimating and proposal development to contract sales and project management. This position has a focus on Mechanical Insulation. The Account Manager typically takes the lead on managing and developing specific customer accounts, while also working effectively to support other members of a team that includes both branch and field/craft personnel. MUST HAVE MECHANICAL INSULATION ESTIMATING EXPERIENCE?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Follow best practices in environmental health and safety to prevent incidents and ensure compliance with applicable regulations, company policy, and customer expectations.
- Provide outstanding customer service that secures a pipeline of repeat business.
- Interpret specifications and perform material take-offs from construction drawings.
- Prepare cost estimates utilizing estimating software or field take-offs.
- Plan and coordinate with the field workforce for successful project execution.
- Manage project schedules, labor productivity, material costs, and margins.
- Develop relationships with customers, vendors, and other industry contacts.
- Utilize software such as Excel, Navisworks, Bluebeam, JD Edwards, Salesforce, and Velocity EHS.

- Previous sales experience in commercial and/or industrial contracting is a plus.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with good attention to detail.
- Proficiency with estimating software and other relevant software tools.
- Ability to interpret drawings, architectural/mechanical plans, and flow diagrams.
- Familiarity with construction project management practices.
- Familiarity with construction contracts, change orders, and related construction documentation.
Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent as required.
- 3+ years of mechanical insulation, estimating, or construction management experience, preferred.
- Professional Certifications or other training/experience in relevant construction specialty.
Travel: - This position involves frequent travel within the assigned territory.
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record required.
