Mechanical/HVAC Project Manager
St. Louis, MO Commercial & Industrial Projects Strong Pipeline of Work
We're working with a top mechanical contractor in the St. Louis area that's known for doing things the right way - building long-term relationships with GCs, treating their field crews with respect, and delivering high-quality mechanical systems on complex commercial and industrial projects. They're looking to add a Project Manager who can step in, take ownership, and run with it.

What You'll Be Responsible For:
Manage mechanical scopes (HVAC, piping, sheet metal) from kickoff through closeout
Oversee scheduling, procurement, change orders, submittals, and cost tracking
Coordinate with foremen, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to keep work moving
Walk jobsites and ensure field operations align with the project plan
Run 2-5 projects depending on size, often in the $500K-$5M range
Represent the company professionally to clients and partners
What You Bring:
Minimum 3 years of experience managing mechanical construction or HVAC projects
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (ductwork, piping, hydronics, controls, etc.)
Able to read construction drawings and specs, and coordinate across trades
Proficient in construction software like Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.
A proactive mindset - someone who solves problems before they become issues

This is a construction-based position. Experience in HVAC/mechanical contracting is required. Candidates with IT or general corporate project management backgrounds will not be considered.
