I m currently working with a leading manufacturing business based in the Hazlehead area, looking to add a mechanical fitter to their engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established site with a strong commitment to safety, performance, and development.
You ll be responsible for keeping production machinery running efficiently through planned and reactive maintenance, as well as contributing to ongoing improvement projects across the site.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
Maintenance on a range of automated equipment
Supporting production teams to maintain OEE and product quality
Participating in engineering projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Maintaining a strong health & safety culture
The ideal candidate:
Experienced Mechanical Fitter with a minimum Level 3 Qualification.
ONC or equivalent in engineering (NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC/HND)
- Experienced in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial setting
