Metalis are currently working alongside a specialist manufacturing business based within Chesterfield, who due to expansion are looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join the team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Mechanical assembly, stripping down and repairing of equipment
- Building sub-assemblies for material handling equipment
- Working from engineering drawings & specifications
- Testing of equipment
- Adhering to health and safety regulations
- Use of hand & power tools
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a mechanical assembly or fitting role
- Hands on and supportive of wider business
- Wanting a long-term career
Working Hours:
- Days only
- Monday - Friday. 7:30AM - 5PM
- 15.00ph - 16.00ph
