Mechanical Field Service Specialist:

This position provides mechanical servicing of Haarup batching and mixing plant equipment installed at customer's site. Travel in North America to customer sites to inspect and service equipment. This position will also be involved in installation of new plants in North America.


Job Functions

1. Carry out service of Haarup equipment and training to customers during and after equipment service.

2. Assists customers with installing new equipment, upgrades and specific paid services.

3. Read drawings.

4. Welding.

5. Troubleshoot.

6. Promotes service and parts to customers as needed.

7. Completes service reports and expense reports.

8. Helps in warehouse as needed, including pulling, crating and shipping parts.

9. Take customer parts and service-related calls as needed.

10. Understands lean concepts and initiates improvements to improve efficiency and reduce costs. 11. Follows written policies, procedures and best practices.

12. Performs other duties as assigned.

Must be willing to travel in North America and possibly Europe as required. 100 to 150 plus days per year travel. Must be physically able to perform manual labor and lift a minimum of 100 pounds. Must have good driving record. Must have or able to get a US passport.
