Due to an internal promotion, they seek a skilled Mechanical Estimator to assist large-scale Mission Critical projects and drive successful outcomes.

The Position:
The appointed Mechanical Estimator will assume responsibility for:
- Plumbing system piping design & estimating
- Take-off and pricing for HVAC systems, air systems, heating and cooling and fire-protection
- HVAC ductwork/ pipe sizing and take off
- Performing estimates across different levels including conceptual design, design development and construction documents
- Supporting field operations by reviewing field change orders and assisting in answering contractors' requests for information
- Supporting the pre-construction team in the bidding process for the different procurement methods including: general contracts, construction management and de-sign build
- Technical support for the resolution and tracking of project issues
The Candidate:
Applicants will be expected to demonstrate :
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of construction and design experience.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of mission critical data center experience.
- Prior working knowledge and proficiency in Excel, Winest, WebLEM, BlueBeam, Revit modelling and Autobid is a plus.
