My client has a strong presence in the industry and they are calling on skilled mechanical estimators to come in and hit the ground running by way of executing thorough and complete tenders. Your Duties:
Carrying out material, mechanical and public health system take offs, obtaining sub-contractor and supplier quotes and utilising estimating software to build quotes
Reviewing tender information and developing cost plans and budget estimates
Occasionally attend site visits and pre/post tender interviews
Reviewing tender specifications and documentation to ensure tender is accurately prepared inline with requirements
Your Experienc
Proven mechanical estimating experience
Time served mechanical engineer/estimator (backgrounds from building services, M&E, construction or similar)
Strong technical knowledge of current mechanical regulations
Able to manage a diverse and varied workload
