Job Description:


Keystone Compliance, a regulatory compliance test lab located in New Castle, PA, is currently seeking candidates for a Mechanical Test Engineer position. The successful candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent character, and a commitment to producing high-quality work. We are looking for someone who can work independently, is self-motivated, and can manage their time effectively.


Key Responsibilities:


Plan and execute test programs with a high level of quality to meet scheduled demands.

Testing activity includes but is not limited to vibration, acceleration, temperature, humidity, altitude, corrosion, rain, wind, ice, solar radiation, fungus resistance and ingress protection.

Communicate with customers to plan and troubleshoot test programs.

Coordinate testing with external partners and other internal departments.

Use CAD software to design and build vibration fixtures and test setups.

Develop and update internal lab operating procedures.

Prepare engineering estimates to support quoting test programs and department budgets.


Qualifications:


Minimum of three years of engineering experience.

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field.

Experience with interpreting drawings, schematics and standards and machining, welding, fabrication, HVAC, electricity and electronics are a plus.

Proficient with MS Office and CAD software.

Be as comfortable working with tools as working on a keyboard.

Ability to lift and handle equipment weighing up to 75 lbs.

Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods while conducting tests.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer. Citizenship must permit compliance with the requirements of ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations).
