Mechanical Engineer - $80,000 Range
Location: Manitowoc, Wisconsin

Are you a driven Mechanical Engineer looking to make an impact in a dynamic, industrial environment? We're looking for a hands-on professional to join our client's Engineering team and help shape the future of their heavy manufacturing operations. About the Role: In this role, you'll collaborate with production and maintenance teams to drive process improvements, troubleshoot equipment, and support capital projects. You'll also play a key role in organizing technical documentation, assisting with installations, and developing preventive maintenance strategies-all while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:
•  Maintain and organize engineering documentation for facilities, equipment, and processes
•  Support project management initiatives and assist with vendor coordination
•  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve equipment or process issues
•  Create and update technical drawings for fabrication and installations
•  Assist in developing and improving engineering standards, data collection systems, and reporting
•  Work with maintenance to troubleshoot issues and support preventive maintenance programs
•  Support environmental data logging, reporting, and compliance efforts
•  Act as a resource for basic machine control principles and programming What We're Looking For:
•  BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
•  Minimum 2 years of relevant experience; background in metal rolling, casting, forging, or heavy equipment preferred
•  Solid understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, furnaces, burners, and control systems (both mechanical and electrical)
•  Proficiency in SolidWorks required; AutoCAD a plus
•  Experience in Lean manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies
•  Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
•  Self-motivated, collaborative, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
•  Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite Why Join Us?
