Mechanical Engineers & Cad Designers - Multiple Openings
Pay Rate: $32-50/hr
6 month contract + possible extensions
Type: Onsite 5 days per week in Grand Rapids
Start Date: June 9th
Role: Support design of mechanical packaging and PCBAs/CCAs, ensure structural integrity, and manage thermal analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Develop mechanical drawings and models.
- Perform thermal and structural analysis.
- Assist in material selection and BOM creation.
Day-to-Day Tasks:
- Mechanical Definition Drawing (MDD): Collaborate with other engineers to create detailed mechanical drawings.
- Mechanical Packaging Design: Support efforts on packaging designs for electronic components.
- Thermal, Structural, Weight Analysis: Complete analyses to ensure designs meet specifications.
- Component Stress Analysis: Evaluate stress on components.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/CAD Software
Plus:
- Previous experience in CAD modeling, thermal analysis, structural analysis, and FEA is desirable
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
