Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 per year

We are a diversified contracting firm that specializes in the design and installation of heating, air conditioning, ventilation, dust collection, hoods, metal roofing, and refrigeration systems. We also provide specialty sheet metal fabrication and welding services. Our client list includes commercial, retail, and industrial enterprises throughout California.

We are looking to add a skilled Mechanical Engineer to our team.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop mechanical systems and equipment using AutoCAD.
2. Ensure all mechanical designs and installations comply with industry standards and regulations, including Title 24.
3. Work closely with the design team on commercial, retail, medical, office buildings, and renovation projects.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of projects.
5. Conduct performance and safety tests on mechanical systems and equipment.
6. Troubleshoot and solve engineering related problems.
7. Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
8. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in mechanical engineering and manufacturing technology.
9. Participate in project meetings and present mechanical designs and solutions to clients and stakeholders.
10. Manage and coordinate with contractors and suppliers during the implementation phase of the projects.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer.
3. Proficiency in AutoCAD.
4. Solid knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
5. Proven experience in designing and developing mechanical systems for commercial, retail, medical, office buildings, and renovation projects.
6. Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred but not required.
