Responsibilities:
- Lead Mechanical department and provide technical design support.
- Assist in the preparation of schematic designs, construction documents and specifications in compliance with owner's requirements and ensure governmental code compliance.
- Execute mechanical design from conceptual design through construction documents.
- Develop mechanical system layouts and identify equipment sizing/selection.
- Perform plumbing schematic design of air systems, fans, ducting, etc.
- Review design calculations, drawings, specifications, design analysis and construction cost estimates.
- Perform construction related services including shop drawing reviews, response to requests for information, conduct field / site surveys and observations.
- Collaborate and coordinate design with engineers, architects, designers, owners, product manufacturers, vendors and building contractors as required.
- Responsible for insuring accuracy and content of construction documents and coordination with other disciplines.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methods and processes.
- Maintain continuing professional education in discipline.
- Attend coordination meetings and conduct site visits as required.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Masters preferred.
- Minimum 10+ years of relevant work experience.
- Licensed PE.
- LEED certified.
- Knowledge of industry technical software.
- Strong leadership skills - ability to motivate and direct team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
