Mechanical Engineer I with Security Clearance

Job Description BAE Systems is looking for an entry level Mechanical Engineer to join our team for an exciting opportunity to support the development, readiness and sustainment of the USAF Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) weapon systems. The ICBM System Program Office must ensure a safe, secure and reliable ICBM weapon system as required by the war fighter, Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC), through 2070. This position will support the DMSMS Obsolescence functions, to help support and maintain parts availability and readiness for the MMIII weapon system. Duties include but are not limited to: DMSMS case-tracking system and DMSMS metrics at an in-depth level Part selection criteria and their impact on DMSMS resilience Provide focused management and coordination across multiple stakeholders in support of DMSMS management Identify, prioritize, and recommend solutions to the barriers that prevent a PM from establishing a robust DMSMS management program Receive, track and coordinate program documents Provides management and customer with logistics data. Consults with management to ensure adjustments are made according to program changes to facilitate long-term planning. Interprets current government and industry directives, standards, data item descriptions and related instructions for impact on integrated logistic support procedures Develops and prepares quality reports and accompanying correspondence for transmittal to the customer Reviews integrated logic support analyses and worksheets for adequacy and accuracy Why BAE Systems? Required Education, Experience, & Skills BS/MS in Aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, or mathematics 0 to 2 yrs directly related experience Must also be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. The criteria for obtaining and holding a clearance are driven by US government requirements. You must be a US citizen to obtain a security clearance. Full-Time Salary Range: $52080 - $88535 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
