Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop and refine mechanical designs for high-voltage electronics assemblies.
• Perform structural analysis using FEA and other modeling tools.
• Translate design parameters into detailed conceptual and critical designs while adhering to engineering standards.
• Oversee the fabrication and testing of mechanical components and assemblies, ensuring compliance with specifications.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers, technicians, and manufacturing teams to optimize designs for performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Create technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and engineering reports.
• Provide clear technical presentations and updates to internal teams and customers.
Requirements and Qualifications Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 1-5 years of engineering experience with a Bachelor's degree or 0-5 years with a Master's degree.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, or similar) for mechanical design and drafting.
• Experience with FEA tools for structural simulations.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.
Ideal Competencies:
• Experience in high-voltage electronics packaging and electromagnetic shielding design.
• Knowledge of pulsed power systems, thermal management, and mechanical integration.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, material selection, and assembly techniques

• U.S. citizen
• Hours are flexible, but must include a 9 AM-3:30 PM core block
• Occasional travel may be required
• Must pass a drug test and background check
