Position: Mechanical and Electrical Project Manager
Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 DOE plus bonus

The Mechanical & Electrical PM under supervision, prepares electrical & mechanical design drawings and specifications for new construction, existing facilities expansion, and renovation projects. Projects will be of moderate to difficult complexity. The Mechanical & Electrical PM will be the primary point of contact with owners, architects, and other engineers. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. Design requirements will be defined by verbal instructions, sketches, and/or formal documents. Able to work without immediate supervision and able to understand project scope and contract requirements. Must be able to manage project from schematic design through construction administration.
Responsibilities:
- Obtains basic data from documents, occupant interviews, and field measurements.
- Prepares floor plans, site plans, and other drawings for construction and remodel projects.
- Compiles specifications and contract documents from existing sources for assigned projects.
- Performs field review of existing facilities to determine and verify relevant services and site layout, and to coordinate construction with plans and specifications
- Direct and supervise the purchase of major equipment.
- Ensure labor, material, subcontractors, and equipment cost control for all projects.
- Provide any required project billings.
- Utilizes relevant company technology to support all assigned responsibilities.
- Responsible for system sizing and layout, selection of components for systems.
- Utilizes AutoCAD, Architectural Desktop and/or Revit equipment and maintains current knowledge of CAD technology principles and applications.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Applies project scope and contract requirements to project deliverables.
- Works within scope and budget for project tasks.
- Financial Management:
- Develops, manages, and oversees key financial components (e.g., financial plans, budgets, forecasts) for assigned scope of responsibility to minimize risk and variance, and to maximize contributions to company revenue and margin.
- Reviews and assesses financial data, reports, and records. Ensures employee compliance with related procedures to ensure effective and efficient operations.
- Creates and communicates financial targets and goals in order to accomplish broader financial objectives.
- Proactively monitors and interprets ongoing financial performance and responds appropriately. Assesses and mitigates financial risks.
- Develops business plans and makes operational decisions in light of broader financial goals and constraints.

Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- At least 5 years of design experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
- Proven ability to perform the duties specified with prior project experience at an equivalent level of responsibility.
- Have strong understanding of National Electrical Code and other local codes
Certifications/Licenses:
- PE license preferred.
- PMI, CAPM, CRE, CME, PMP, CHD preferred one or more.
