Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanic to join our team. This role involves performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles and equipment, including forklifts, trailers, and passenger vehicles. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving abilities, the ability to work independently, and a passion for delivering high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine inspections and service on forklifts and vehicles.
2. Conduct engine, transmission, rear end, brake, and suspension repairs.
3. Inspect and maintain trailers to ensure they are in safe working condition.
4. Complete work orders and submit accurate paperwork in a timely manner.
5. Travel 2 days a week to various job sites as needed.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 2 years of experience as an auto technician or mechanic.
2. ASE certification preferred.
3. Experience with electrical diagnosis is a plus.
4. Strong attention to detail and ability to complete work efficiently and independently.
5. Valid Driver s License.
6. Must pass a background check.
7. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and parts as necessary.
2. Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.

Compensation & Benefits:

1. Starts at $25-30/hr for an experienced candidate
