MAU is hiring an Electrician Mechanic for our client in Cincinnati, OH. As an Electrician Mechanic, you will maintain and repair packaging equipment in a manufacturing plant. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Shift Information:

Sunday-Thursday 11:00 PM - 7:10 AM


Required Education and Experience:

  • Vocational or Technical school diploma/certificate
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial manufacturing (high-speed manufacturing preferred)

General Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of liquid filling and metering systems, conveyors, and 120V/480V equipment
  • Familiarity with Maintenance Connect
  • Ability to walk, climb, lift up to 50 lbs., and stand for prolonged periods
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Essential Functions:

  • Maintain and repair packaging equipment, including fillers, cappers, labelers, case packers, date coders, and palletizers
  • Work with automated controls, including photo eyes, limit switches, pneumatic solenoids and cylinders, and Panel View parameters
  • Perform troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and routine adjustments
  • Maintain rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, motors, drives, and conveyors, including disassembly, replacing worn parts, and alignments
  • Work with PLC systems, including Allen Bradley and Siemens
  • Conduct facility maintenance, including boilers, water systems, compressed air, lighting, exhaust fans, and makeup air units
  • Other duties as assigned by Valvoline

Physical Demands:

  • Walking, climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs., prolonged standing, and use of safety equipment
