Description SAIC is seeking a MCIS Supply Technician to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA. Responsibilities: Technical and management support for the receipt and storage of materials and supplies. Maintain an accurate account of materials utilizing the Defense Property Accounting System (DPAS) and conduct semiannual inventories with Responsible Officers. Assist Supply Officer with Monthly Serialized Inventory. Review documents such as vouchers, purchase requests, work orders, and contract invoices to verify job order numbers against receiving documents and contracts. Identify supply and warehouse storage problems and provide recommendations and develop alternative solutions to conflicting goals and objectives. Coordinate the shipping of unit equipment and mail parcels. Supporting the accounting, maintaining, disposal of Government property within the appropriate automated systems Defense Property Accounting System (DPAS) and Global Combat Support System-Marine Corps (GCSS-MC). Assist op erations and command staff with developing annual spend plans and ensure obligation rates are maintained. Reconcile outstanding requisitions with Supply Officer Coordinate with Marine Corps specific units. (MARCORSYSCOM, MARCORLOGCOM) to appropriately manage Government-furnished property (GFP). Coordinate packaging, shipping, and ancillary supply/logistics duties. Location and Travel: This position is based at Fort Belvoir, VA, supporting MIRC facility operations. The analyst will primarily work onsite with limited travel requirements (CONUS) for inspections, assessments, and meetings ( 10%). Qualifications Required Education: High School diploma and six (6) years or more of related experience; per program specifications, a Bachelor's degree will not be accepted in lieu of experience. Qualifications: Strong knowledge of facility management processes, logistics operations, and DoD compliance procedures. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Experience in facility security, maintenance coordination, and logistics planning. Strong written and oral communication skills, capable of conveying complex information to various audiences. Ability to work independently or as part of a team, ensuring operational efficiency. Familiarity with military installation facility protocols and regulations preferred. Required Clearance: Must have an active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI Security Clearance.
