MCIS Security Representative with Security Clearance

Description SAIC has an opening for a Security Representative located in Virginia Beach, VA responsible to provide specialized security expertise for the MCIS team. Job Duties: Perform entry/exit report (badge trace) via Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) and Lenel Enterprise System Material handling, storing, destroying and managing SCI materials in compliance with DOD directives regarding SCI Ensure thorough understanding of DIA SCI Administrative Security Manual (M1), NAVSUP to DOD 5105.21-M-1, ICD 503, DCID 6/9, ICD 704/705, SSO Navy BANIFs, Joint DODIIS and JAFAN series of instructions, DOD, and National Industrial Security Program (NISPOM)/ requirements as supplemented for handling Special Intelligence and SCI material Interpret security policy on matters pertaining to processing, dissemination, and controlling of classified materials Support preparing and conducting GENSER and SCI indoctrinations, setting up required media support equipment and verifying clearance eligibility prior to indoctrinations Support coordinating SCI conference rosters and verifying eligibility and access Qualifications Required Education: High school degree and six (6) years' of experience per contract specifications, Bachelors degree cannot be considered in lieu of degree Required Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance; US Citizenship required Required Skills: Ability to work in a team environment with demonstrated experience in a range of security disciplines and excellent customer interface skills Good analytical skills and be able to operate in a demanding environment while executing multiple tasks simultaneously Be proficient and skilled in the most current version of Microsoft Office software Strong verbal and written communications
