Job Description:


We are hiring experienced IBM Maximo Technical Developers to work on enterprise-level implementations for our client Everest. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in Maximo customization, MAS (Maximo Application Suite), and BIRT/COGNOS report development, with some exposure to support activities. This role is development-heavy (80%) and will include minor support tasks (20%) as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

For Mid-Level (5-8 Years):

  • Design, develop, and enhance Maximo applications based on business requirements.
  • Customize workflows, MBOs, automation scripts, and application designer components.
  • Develop and modify BIRT reports; exposure to COGNOS is a plus.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders for requirement gathering.
  • Participate in minor ticket resolution and bug fixes when required.
  • Follow ITIL-based processes for change and incident management.

For Senior-Level (8-12 Years):

  • Lead the design and architecture of Maximo customizations and technical components.
  • Build complex BIRT and COGNOS reports to meet analytical needs.
  • Develop and manage integrations between Maximo and third-party systems.
  • Guide mid-level developers and perform code reviews.
  • Engage directly with stakeholders to understand business goals and align solutions.
  • Provide occasional technical support and troubleshooting assistance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong hands-on experience in IBM Maximo development and customization.
  • Expertise in Maximo Application Suite (MAS).
  • Proficiency in BIRT reporting (COGNOS preferred for senior).
  • Experience with Automation Scripting, Java-based MBO customization, and application configuration.
  • Understanding of Maximo integration frameworks (MIF) and REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Exposure to ticket-based support and bug resolution (minor portion of the role).
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes.

Preferred (For Senior Profiles):

  • Experience with enterprise asset management (EAM) systems.
  • Integration experience with tools like ESB, WebMethods, or custom APIs.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Java, and scripting.
  • IBM Maximo or MAS certifications.
