Muskegon, Michigan, Maternal and Fetal Medicine Medical Director JobClinical Role:Seeking a dynamic and experienced Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Medical Director to lead our Regional Maternal Fetal Medicine team located in West MichiganMonday through FridayProvide Physician leadership and oversight for the Maternal Fetal Medicine Service LineCollaborate with Administrative & Clinical Directors for Women's & Children's Services in a dyad relationshipWork alongside OB/GYN Medical Directors for Grand Rapids and the LakeshoreOversee, Maternal Fetal Medicine's service line to ensure high-quality care for complex maternal fetal casesDeliver comprehensive, patient-centered care for individuals with high-risk pregnancies, including diagnostic, consultative, and management servicesCoordinate care with obstetricians, neonatologists, and other specialistsDevelop and enhance the Maternal Fetal Medicine program with administrative and clinical leadershipAchieve goals around quality, service excellence, colleague engagement, stewardship, and financial objectivesProvide education and mentorship to medical students and residentsOffer prenatal and high-risk obstetrics carePerform da Vinci robotic surgeryConduct infertility evaluationsProvide menopausal care, pelvic pain diagnosis, and treatmentDeliver pelvic reconstruction and urinary incontinence treatmentProvide routine well-woman care, including annual exams and pap smearsEvaluate and treat abnormal pap smearsDiagnose and treat hormonal problems, including perimenopauseDiagnose and treat endometriosis and chronic pelvic painPerform laparoscopic gynecologic surgeries, including hysterectomy and endometrial ablationOffer natural family planning and infertility evaluationDiagnose and treat breast conditions and disordersUtilize state-of-the-art technology, including the da Vinci Surgical SystemDeliver obstetrical care, including high-risk pregnanciesProvide pre-conceptual planning through post-natal carePerform deliveries and on-site ultrasoundsSupport OB nurse educators and certified lactation counselorsOffer supportive counseling and perinatal mood disorder screeningManage menopause with hormone therapy and alternativesDiagnose and treat uterine fibroids and osteoporosisCorrect bladder and rectal prolapseAddress vaginal/uterine prolapse and abnormal bleedingProvide breast exams and imaging referralsConduct cervical procedures and hysterectomyOpen to experienced Board Certified provider or TRULY Board Eligible recent graduatesIf candidate is TRULY Board Eligible, must become Board Certified within 2 years of becoming eligibleNot accepting candidates who have lapsed Board Certification and need to obtain againNot accepting Locums candidatesOpen to H1B candidates.
