- Responsible for the diagnosis, treatment, and management of high-risk pregnancies.
- This includes working with obstetricians and other healthcare providers to offer expert care for patients facing complex pregnancy-related issues, such as gestational diabetes, preeclampsia, multiple gestations, or fetal anomalies.

- Regional Physician providing services mostly in Grand Rapids with some travel to Muskegon as needed.
- Participate in the education and training of medical students and residents.
- Assigned an MA, Sonographer and additional support staff at all offices.
- On call will be shared with MFM Partner/Medical Director mostly phone calls with hospital visits as needed.
- Patient Care: Provide specialized care for pregnant women with high-risk conditions and fetal complications.
- Consultations: Conduct consultations for obstetricians, offering expert advice on high-risk pregnancies, prenatal screening, and diagnostic testing.
- Ultrasound and Diagnostics: Perform advanced diagnostic techniques such as fetal ultrasound, amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling (CVS), and other procedures as needed to assess fetal health.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks to maternal and fetal health, develop treatment plans, and monitor patients closely throughout their pregnancy.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including obstetricians, neonatologists, genetic counselors, and nurses, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Educate patients on their conditions, treatment options, and potential risks to ensure informed decision-making.
- Engage in clinical research to advance maternal-fetal medicine, and potentially teach or mentor medical students, residents, or fellows.
- Respond to obstetrical emergencies and provide immediate care in cases of preterm labor, eclampsia, or other urgent complications.
