We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Specialist to join our healthcare team in Elmira, NY on a locum tenens basis. The MFM physician will be responsible for providing expert care to pregnant patients, including those with high-risk pregnancies. Key Responsibilities:
Provide clinical care for high-risk pregnancies, including diagnosis and management of maternal and fetal conditions.
Perform advanced ultrasound, fetal monitoring, and other diagnostic procedures as needed.
Collaborate with obstetricians, neonatologists, and other specialists to deliver comprehensive care.
Offer counseling and guidance to patients regarding their pregnancy, risks, and treatment options.
Review medical records and ensure accurate documentation of patient interactions and procedures.
Participate in on-call duties as required, including responding to emergencies and consultations.
Stay current with advancements in maternal-fetal medicine and integrate best practices into patient care.
