Title: Materials Supervisor
Location: Greater Lexington, KY
Shift: M-F Regular 40-hour work week
Pay: $88k-$133k
Insight Global is currently seeking a Supervisor Materials direct hire opportunity in the Lexington, KY area. This role is a working supervisor so it can be expected that this individual will be comfortable being on the floor, operating forklifts, moving materials, and completing physical work along with the team. Primary responsibilities include staging, moving materials, and finding opportunities for more efficient material purchases and management through identifying alternate sourcing , reverse engineering, product substitution, etc. In this role, this individual will work closely with planners, engineers, plant managers, and supervisors/foremen to ensure all material requests are accurate and complete. They will also be supervising Material Leads, Warehouse technicians, materials assistant, inventory analysts, etc. It can also be expected that this individual will be comfortable working with an ERP system and reviewing and analyzing data for inventory recommendations.
Desired Skills and Experiences:
- 5-7+ years of with materials experience (staging, moving materials, finding material purchasing pathways)
- ERP experience - Teams uses Maximo
- Microsoft Office Proficiency
- Professional working experience at a utility company (water, gas, electric)
