Position Summary Hawaiian Airlines is looking for a Material Support Agent to join our Supply Operation in Seattle. This position requires strong computer proficiency with a mix of physicality to get the job done. Training for the position may require travel to Honolulu.
Key Responsibilities - Receives, issues and credits parts and materials
- Prepares proper documents and enters all necessary transactions in TRAX
- Receives, unloads, unpacks, checks and identifies all incoming material
- Stores all parts and material after ensuring proper packaging and labeling
- Processes outgoing material
- Assembles kits required for aircraft checks
- Performs monthly shelf life checks and physical inventory counts
- Must meet qualifications as required in lower level classifications
Minimum Requirements - Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to obtain proper restricted area clearances (SIDA, Customs)
- Must have or able to obtain a valid ramp license
- Must be certified to operate a forklift or obtain certification within 30 days of hire
- Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs
- Must be able to demonstrate ability to type 30 wpm
- Must be able to learn and demonstrate ability using the Maintenance Inventory Management system (TRAX) and other computer systems as necessary
- High school diploma or equivalent
Hawaiian Airlines is regulated by the Department of Transportation (DOT - regulation, 49 CFR part 40) and all applicants are advised that post-offer and/or pre-employment drug testing will be conducted to determine the presence of Marijuana, Cocaine, Opioids, PCP (Phencyclidine), and Amphetamine prior to any offer of employment or transfer into a safety-sensitive position. Failure to submit to testing or positive indications of drug use will render the applicant ineligible for employment with Hawaiian Airlines and any employment offer will be withdrawn. In addition to routine employment eligibility verification, U.S.-based airlines must gather information to validate country of citizenship and country of birth. Upon hire, you must provide documentation proving your current country of citizenship and birthplace. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, for any employer, without sponsorship. Hawaiian Airlines will not sponsor applicants for nonimmigrant or immigrant employment visas or status for this position. Compensation Expected Salary: $17.98/hr
