Description (objectives of the position):Reveam is seeking a highly motivated Material Handling Systems Operator to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of our advanced material handling system. Your technical expertise will be instrumental in optimizing system performance, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining a safe and efficient production environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Configure, tune, and control system settings according to established standard operating procedures.
- Optimize system performance through parameter adjustments.
- Conduct pre-production checks and ensure system readiness.
- Continuously monitor the material handling system for anomalies and improvements.
- Swiftly identify and resolve issues, coordinating with relevant personnel.
- Manage downtime and respond to production issues according to standard operating procedures.
- Gather detailed information on system events.
- Create comprehensive performance reports.
- Submit reports to the department in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements (OSHA, USDA/APHIS, FDA, State of Texas).
- Adhere to food defense, Good Manufacturing Practices, and HACCP standards.
- Work with Quality to report defective products or commodities and ensure quality requirements are being met.
- Accurate knowledge of production orders (shipment and load details).
- Correctly complete the necessary paperwork
- Ensure that the production floor is a safe environment, free from hazards
- Seek continuous improvement
Qualifications- Associate degree in Mechanical, Electrical-Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineer or related field preferred
- One (1) to two (2) years of working experience as process/manufacturing/ Industrial Technician and/or Engineer Jr. is a plus
- Basic understanding of programs such as lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, ISO, 5S, etc.
- Intermediate Experience with Microsoft Office
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Have knowledge of machine operations, conveyor belts, 5s, lean manufacturing, 5 Why's
- Good math skills and ability to analyze production activities to achieve production goals
- Problem solver, can initiate and implement solutions to daily operational issues
- Team player can work well with other management team to maintain efficiency of workflow and procedures
- Adheres to and enforces GMPs, PPEs, and other protocols for safety and efficiency of the production floor

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. This job includes close vision and adjusting focus to detect, discern, operate, and inspect. The employee is regularly exposed to energized electrical gear, moving mechanical parts, tools, and vehicles. Is occasionally exposed to low permissible levels of ionizing radiation.
