The Position

The position will perform daily work assignments accurately, in a timely and safe manner. The position will have sound technical aptitude and perform multiple projects at a time. This position can work with moderate supervision.

This is a 12 hour shift. The work schedule will be Monday through Wednesday, every other Thursday from 6am-6:30pm.

Relationships

Reports to: Supervisor, Supply Chain

Essential Functions
•  Using FEFO basis, pick, stock, verify, identify inventory, or deliver materials as needed
•  Accurately pick, pack, ship and document all orders to meet customer order fulfillment requirements
•  Management of all work orders which includes printing, timely picking and staging of all materials, issuing materials to and closing work orders upon completion
•  Support column crating process
•  Support Lab materials replenishment reports
•  Support Freezer/Cooler PM's as needed
•  Communicate, maintain, and resolve any PO related issues within a timely manner
•  Achieve and maintain zero shipping errors and zero inventory variances
•  Monitor shipments for damage, breakage, or other problems and document circumstances immediately upon discovery
•  Manage and prepare domestic and international ambient and temperature-controlled shipments for delivery as requested
•  Complete required international documentation required per product and country
•  Coordinates shipments with outside vendors to establish pickup and delivery schedules and/or any resolution of issues
•  Ability to complete inventory cycle count activities as requested
•  Participate in daily/annual inventory cycle count activities as requested
•  Maintain inventory and associated records for all materials
•  Maintain inventory levels for shipping supply materials as needed
•  Ensure all delivery vehicles are unloaded properly and material is inspected per procedure and completing the Logbook entry
•  Responsible for ensuring all receipts are entered into the inventory system, labeled, and scanned into the appropriate locations
•  Maintain an orderly, organized, and safe work area
•  Scan and file packing list as required
•  Collect temperature monitoring devices from temperature monitored packaging and process per procedure
•  Confirm receiving area is clear and compliant per procedure prior to end of shift. Communicate any issues with your management team
•  Handle products using material handling equipment
•  Transport materials as needed or requested by supervisor between external local locations driving a straight truck
•  Transport packages in compliance with state, federal regulations, and Company Safety guidelines
•  Work with Materials Management employees to ensure the proper paperwork accompanies each shipment between buildings
•  Load company truck by properly placing and securing items. Unload company truck using material handling equipment when applicable. Assist Materials Management truck driver with loading and unloading when requested
•  Contact appropriate employee and/or department with receipt, pickup, and delivery details when applicable
•  Assist with Operations process and improvement projects
•  Ability to accurately follow procedures or with minimal direction

•  Ability to work standing for approximately 80% of a typical working day
•  Ability to work on a mobile device, DSI scanner, or in front of a computer screen
•  Ability to work with hazardous or flammable materials (e.g., chemicals, acids, bases, dry ice etc.) so as not to endanger oneself or others
•  Ability to comply with any applicable personal protective equipment requirements
•  Ability and means to travel between locations
•  Ability to participate in the on-call schedule rotation
•  Ability to work in cold storage cooler (2-8c), -20c freezer and monitor freezer alarm system as required
•  Participate in weekly QA audits
•  Maintain compliant by completing all training within the required timeline using Compliance Wire training system
•  Perform additional duties as requested Physical Requirements

Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reading of written documents and use of computer monitor screen, reaching with hands and arms, talking, writing, listening. Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, carrying, grasping. Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds. Must comply with EHS responsibilities for the position. Working conditions will be heating ventilation and air condition controlled. Working in a lab environment will require working with skin irritants, lung irritants, electrical equipment, sharp instruments, toxic materials, and hazardous waste. Safety procedures will be followed to minimize exposure, including clean room gowning.

Qualifications
•  High school diploma or equivalent, required

•  Must be able to read and understand English-written job instructions and safety requirements
•  Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and MS Teams knowledge preferred
•  Proven ability to multi-task and demonstrate diplomatic skills

•  Technical Requirements:

•  Proficient in operation of a wide variety of instrumentation and data systems
