Summary Description: Reporting to the Master Production Scheduling Manager, the Master Production Scheduling Coordinator assists with the process of converting Sales forecasts to the Master Production Schedules and converting Master Production Schedules to Work Center Schedules for all facilities and products. Supports and participates in the monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to support the achievement of sales, inventory and profit margin goals.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities: - Prepare relevant schedules by working with the Supply Chain Management, Sales, Manufacturing and Forecasting departments.
- Assist in updating all Master Production Schedule (MPS) requirements using sales forecasts, inventory goals, production capabilities and on-hand inventories.
- Track and report current and forecasted finished goods inventory level vs. goals.
- Stay aware of all manufacturing changes impacting production capability, capacity, work center and scheduling.
- Coordinate processes to convert monthly Master Production Schedules into usable work center schedules for all CFM facilities and products.
- Publish and track all Master and Work Center Schedules electronically.
- Maintain Master Production and Work Center Schedules to effectively and efficiently support forecasted sales and desired inventory levels.
- Update scheduled production to effectively and efficiently support forecasted sales quantities and desired inventory levels.
- Track and report compliance of manufacturing to published work center schedules.
- Expedite production orders as required.
- Track, coordinate and report monthly past due open order status.
- Track, coordinate and report weekly WIP status for all locations and products.
- Actively participate in the Order Fulfillment meeting.
- Provide daily back-order reports to Production to ensure production priorities are valid.
- Work with Production to track one-off custom and special-order guitars to ensure delivery on time.
- Partner with Manufacturing to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the scheduling process.
- Provide suggestions to implement upgrades to departmental capability.

Position Requirements: - High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 2-3 years' scheduling experience required.
- Scheduling experience in manufacturing a plus.
- BOM/ Routing experience a plus.
- Ability to set priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment required.
- Ability to work in a team environment and work independently with minimal supervision required.
- Ability to communicate with all functional areas and levels of the organization required.
- Attention to detail required.
- Excellent organization skills required.
- Experience with Syteline or other ERP system required.
- Fluency in Microsoft Office products with a mastery level of Excel required.
