Our client, a well-established commercial bakery in Worcester, MA, is seeking an experienced Master Plumber to join their team. This role is vital in maintaining the bakery's plumbing systems, ensuring smooth daily operations, and adhering to all safety and compliance standards.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including water, gas, and drainage systems.

  • Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure the bakery's equipment operates efficiently and safely.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues in a timely and cost-effective manner to minimize operational downtime.

  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure optimal performance of bakery equipment.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure correct installation and repair work.

  • Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety codes.

  • Manage relationships with external vendors and suppliers for plumbing-related materials and services.

  • Provide training and guidance to junior plumbing staff and other team members as needed.


Qualifications:



  • Must hold a valid Master Plumber license in the state of Massachusetts.

  • Minimum of 5 years of commercial or industrial plumbing experience, preferably in a food production or bakery environment.

  • Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations.

  • Proven experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving plumbing systems.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
