SUMMARY The Master Data Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of master data across all manufacturing sites. This role plays a critical part in maintaining data quality to support operational efficiency, decision-making, and compliance. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain, Finance, IT, and Operations, to manage data governance, standardization, and process improvements.
RESPONSIBILITES - Own the creation, maintenance, and validation of all codes across all phases of production (FG, batching, forming, etc).
- Own the creation, maintenance, and validation of all production BOMs.
- Work with the Operations to understand, define, and maintain product routings in Sage X3.
- Collaborate with Sales to review Purchase Sheets, ensuring accurate set up of new products.
- Analysis as needed to review and update material and labor costs.
TASKS AND DUTIES - Using Formulator and Sage X3, create and maintain item numbers and descriptions and to create and maintain Bills of Materials.
- Maintain manufacturing routings, flattened BOMs and rolled up product costs.
- Investigate and analyze material and labor variances and, with input from manufacturing management, update labor standards and correct material cost errors as appropriate.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
MEETING PARTICIPATION As needed.
AUTHORITY This position reports to the Director of Planning and is a critical support position.
The position closely collaborates with Purchasing, Sales, and Operations.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY This position is not a managerial role and does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
CLASSIFICATION This is a full-time non-exempt role.
EDUCATION Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred, or equivalent skills and experience.
WORK EXPERIENCE - 2-5 years experience in Accounting or Master Data.
- PC Computer skills - including Outlook, Word, Excel and in-house programs. SAGE X3 experience a definite plus.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS - Knowledge of business and management principles involved in planning, purchasing, resource allocation, production methods, cost accounting, and continuous improvement skills and processes.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, requirements, and limitations.
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality controls, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of goods.
- Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and implement solutions.
- Managing one's own time and the time of others.

Your primary office location will be the Company's Watsonville, CA headquarters.
