OVERVIEW

Responsible for performing data quality checks, evaluating inconsistencies in the master data, and recommending effective solutions to increase data integrity. This role will also coordinate the implementation of strategic projects and work with team members across all departments. This role will develop and maintain key performance indicators for master data.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Research all requests and inquiries for changes in the master data; exercise prudent judgement and logical thinking to prevent issues with operations, reporting, and database quality of the organization.
  • Perform proactive data quality checks, evaluate inconsistencies, raise issues, and recommend optimal solutions or improvements to increase data integrity.
  • Perform analysis and determine root-cause of problems involving foundational and transactional data with respect to quoting, bookings and billings due to issues of Master Data setups.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of master data architecture at CMSU; provide training to key stakeholders on related processes.
  • Assist in the implementation of key strategic projects; serve as a project coordinator for select business operations initiatives.
  • Assist in the creation of quantitative and qualitative analytics and create reports to be utilized by management.
  • Define, develop, and document business processes, guidelines and standard operating procedures; provide insight to management on process gaps.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of department best practices.
  • Work with cross functional team members in Sales, Service, Finance, Business Operations and Information Technology.
  • Maintain compliance with data quality standards and rules.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; ability to conduct advanced analyses.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship building skills to assist in project implementations and initiatives.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with data management.
  • Self-starter with ability to work in a fast paced environment with excellent follow-up skills.
  • Experience with a teamwork driven environment and engaging with key stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills to properly evaluate and interpret cross-functional data challenges.
  • Able to quickly acquire operational knowledge of key processes and business situations.
  • Experience with an ERP preferred.
  • 4 Year Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
  • 3 years Business operations experience performing data administration.
  • Pay Information: Min $67,900 to Max $109,000 DOE.
