Company Description Job Description Position Summary Masterbrand Cabinets, producer of the premium Omega Cabinets is looking for someone with 5+ years of experience in cabinetry or woodworking experience. Must have the ability to not only work from prints but also be able to conceptualize and build a custom product. This position requires strong communication skills, self-starter, team oriented, along with a quality mindset. Per department guidelines, the Master Craftsman will be expected to build product from the ground up, create custom parts to specification and have a strong knowledge of product offerings. Responsibilities will vary, including, but not limited to handle sheet goods, complete all stages of woodworking process, edit production lists, machine and dado sheet goods, and verify dimensions using caliper or rule. Equipment used will include table saw, shapers, boring machine, various hand tools, notcher, and miter lock machine. Key Accountabilities Respect and comply with all safety guidelines - report safety concerns to management Work with the highest quality standards, maintaining consistent speed and accuracy Ensure that production requirements and standards are met consistently Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality Report any machinery issues to management Maintain a clean and safe work area Follow all written and verbal instructions Attend all safety and production trainings Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude Perform other tasks as assigned Education, Experience & Attributes Excellent communication skills Reliable and punctual Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team High school diploma or equivalent required 5+ years' experience working in a similar position Capable of reading and understanding production documents and safety manuals Basic math, computer, reading, and writing skills Physically capable of manual labor that includes lifting, bending, and reaching Able to operate large industrial machinery Able to work 8-hour shifts standing Flexible schedule and willingness to work occasional overtime Qualifications Additional Information MasterBrand Cabinets, Inc. offers a wide spectrum of cabinetry products designed to satisfy every budget and lifestyle.
